Local Color | Art Ark
- A community art exhibition. One of my new pieces is hanging here, I have not posted it anywhere else. Omar will be at the Art Reception on September 20th. This coincides with the Martha Gardens Arts Festival '08. The Arts Festival will be an interactive event that is fun for both the kids and the adults! The free festival includes art-cars and low-riders, a kids art-car parade, live art performances, music and dance, crafts for kids, food and hands on painting. Definitely worth stopping by and checking out. I won't be here because I will be at Curtis Fest in Sacramento that day. But I will be the docent on October 11th at the Art Ark. If you can't make the Martha Gardens Arts Festival '08, swing by on the 11th to check the art show out.
