My sister gave me the gift of oil paints.
Oils let me build my images, while giving me time to discover the stories within the canvas. By working on each canvas for weeks or months, I am able to find the ideas and emotions within myself. I try to bring the drama within me and the beauty in the world together to create pieces that let my spirit soar.
My dreams and past experiences direct my choices, while the paint and the canvas guide me. My subject matter varies, from capturing musicians and music, to surreal dreams and experiences.
I paint to understand the world, and I hope that others can see the world in different ways through my art.
